Ann’s experience as a small business founder and owner for over 14 years brings specialized knowledge that clients put to great use. Some of her many skills include budget preparation, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting. She takes great satisfaction in helping business owners understand those numbers that are driving their business.
Clients benefit from Ann’s holistic approach to tax planning. Taking opportunities for tax savings while saving for their children’s college or applying a series of Roth Conversions to minimize taxes in retirement – these are just a couple of the ways she takes a tax-smart lens to a client’s current tax position while keeping in mind their long-term goals.
As an Enrolled Agent, Ann has unlimited practice rights to advise and represent individuals, corporations, trusts or any other entity required to file taxes and she is federally licensed to practice in every state. She is also FINRA licensed in Pennsylvania through the Uniform Investment Adviser Law (Series 65). Her credentials and training help her clients understand the tax ramifications of investments they have made or might be considering.
Ann graduated from Smith College and holds Master’s degrees from the University of Delaware and the University of Connecticut. She is a former manager of the Connecticut Venture Group and served as Chief Operating Officer of the Connecticut Technology Council. In the non-profit sector she held positions as the Executive Director for the Connecticut Association for the Gifted and was treasurer of the Hartford Preservation Alliance.
Ann is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the Pennsylvania Society of Enrolled Agents, the Pennsylvania Society of Tax and Accounting Professionals and a Certified QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisor. Ann lives and tends her garden in New Hope, forever on the lookout for truly deer-resistant plants.
